I am currently working with a niche Employment law specialist firm of solicitors with decades of experience behind them as a collective working from offices in the City of London. Due to expansion, the firm is currently looking to recruit 2 x Employment Law Solicitors to join their team, in their City of London based office.

With success, the Employment Law Solicitors must be around 2-7 years’ PQE and have extensive knowledge of Employment Law matters. The successful Employment Solicitor will have proven experience and knowledge advising on a range of Employment Law matters, including but not limited to, advice on contracts/restrictive covenants, TUPE, redundancy, unfair dismissal, discrimination claims and "Business As Usual BAU"/ day-to-day issues such as disciplinary and grievances.

Additional experience advising on performance and absence management terminations and settlement agreements, drafting the full range of employment documentation; contracts, service agreements, HR policies and procedures and supporting correspondence. You will be advising a diverse array of clients on a wide range of non-contentious and contentious employment matters (advising respondent and claimant clients in the Employment Tribunal and High Court).

Further-more this role requires Claimant experience and to have a commercial approach, but also an ability to empathise with clients in difficult situations. Successful candidates will need to have an outgoing nature and be adept at handling high-value contentious work, predominantly for individuals but also for employer clients.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Must have at least 2-7 years’ PQE within Employment Law matters
• Have solid experience and academics
• Have strong written and oral communication skills
• Take responsibility for their own caseload subject to supervision
• Have the ability to deal with competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Be articulate, self-starting and personable
• Be social media savvy
