An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a large ABS structure in Sheffield working closely with various trade union based clients on claimant employment law matters on a locum contract whilst they recruit a permanent member of staff; likely to last for 3 months. The ideal client will be an employment lawyer of approximately 5 years plus PQE and be ready to start work asap.
The employment team offer a full service, advising employee's on most matters in the private and public sector. The caseload will consists of the following:
a) grievance and disciplinary proceedings;
b) redundancy selection and consultation;
c) unfair and constructive dismissal;
d) discrimination and harassment;
f) contracts of employment, policies and handbooks;
g) ill health absence and dismissals;
h) unlawful deductions from wages;
i) identifying employment status;
j) Advising employees and employers upon Settlement Agreements
k) Acting for Claimants in Employment Tribunal proceedings (up to full hearing)
They operate a remuneration model which is industry leading and free from billing targets and fixed hourly rate charges, all Solicitors/ lawyers set their own workflows and manage their own WIP.
