Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a DP/FOI and Information Governance Lawyer for a large public sector body based in the East Midlands.

My client is ideally looking for a qualified lawyer with considerable knowledge in data protection, information management best practice and information governance, to join the team for a locum role initially for a 6 month assignment, with a strong possibility of extension. As an Information Governance Lawyer your duties will include:

• Conducting privacy impact assessments
• Information / data sharing
• Processing agreements
• Subject access requests
• Information requests from other public sector organisations including the Police
• General advice on GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
• Implementation issues, including understanding of issues linked with consent, privacy notices, information access registers and lawful basis for processing data
• Draft privacy notices for all departments in the organisation

A flexible working pattern including home working may be offered to the successful candidate.
