Our global client is looking to recruit an In-house Legal Counsel. The successful candidate will need to be able to point to a strong IT & software bias in their legal career to date. Ideally candidates will have gained experience in-house but private practice candidates with a strong technology/IT background who have had a secondment in-house would be of interest too.
The successful candidate will be drafting, analysing and negotiating on complicated and key client agreements including software licences, hardware agreements, IT, outsourcing and non-disclosure agreements.
In addition to the legal skills you will also need good communication skills. Candidates with a track record of getting things done, good attention to detail and a strong commercial focus would be of real interest. Whilst this is a big organisation it benefits from a great working environment. The legal team you will be joining is highly regarded and you will be involved in good quality legal work.
The company deal with large multinational organisations and provide market leading technology products and solutions. The business is constantly evolving and changing and you will be involved in supporting the business provide their cutting edge technology solutions.
Our client envisages that candidates with 2 -6 years PQE will have the relevant skills/knowledge for this position, however this has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this PQE range but who have the relevant experience.
