Our impressive list of FTSE 250 clients including national household names in the financial services, retail and energy sectors among others, means we can offer lawyers a truly diverse mix of extremely high quality work. Commercial Disputes Partner, Stephen Dilley, is looking for an experienced commercial litigator to join the team in Bristol.

What will you be doing?

In this national team you'll find yourself working on a wide spectrum of commercial disputes work emerging from our corporate, banking and public sector teams, with a strong focus on disputes around commercial contracts. What is common to all our contentious work is the quality and complexity of disputes we're supporting our clients on. You'll play a central part in large high value cases that are extremely important to our clients and their businesses from a range of sectors including manufacturing, transport, energy, healthcare, education, waste and construction, in addition to mentoring and supervising technical work within the team.

What does the ideal candidate look like?

You'll be experienced in delivering first rate contentious advice ideally gained at a City or leading regional firm, will have a proactive attitude to work, a desire to progress and a keenness to help further develop the team’s client base. And your knowledge of alternative dispute resolution procedures, particularly mediation, will give your application a distinct advantage. Just as important will be the ability to apply a forensic intelligence to complex issues on behalf of our clients with a level of personal resilience to support challenging yet rewarding cases.
