Childcare Legal Assistant required to join a local authority based in London for an initial 3 month period.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic paralegal to gain invaluable public sector experience within a supportive team.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced paralegal, legal assistant or legal intern, holding a law degree or equivalent. Previous experience of working as a childcare paralegal would be beneficial for this role, either from a public or private sector background.
The successful legal assistant will support fee-earners within the childcare legal department. Therefore tasks and responsibilities will vary, but will typically involve;
● Carrying out legal research
● Updating court bundles
● Undertaking administrative duties
● Performing any other duties deemed fit to the role
This council is particularly well located for those living in South London.
