JOB TITLE: Childcare Lawyer

PQE REQUIRED: 2+ years

LOCATION: Kent (commutable from: commutable from: Maidstone, Chatham, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Ashford, Gravesend)

SALARY: Generous Hourly Rate

THE ROLE:

A new role has become available with a fast paced, innovative legal team in a busy public sector organisation. A skilled Childcare Lawyer will independently handle a caseload of Emergency Protection Orders, Child Protection Conferenced and section 20 accommodation matters. You will have autonomous responsibility for cases from instruction through to hearing, including providing advocacy at early stages. Due to the complexity of the cases handled by the organisation an in-house advocacy service is available for later stage hearings. The Childcare Lawyer will start immediately and be in place on an on going basis.

THE CANDIDATE:

You will be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with in excess of 3 years PQE gained in a busy childcare department. Prior exposure to public sector work is a distinct advantage. You must have an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of childcare law and a proven ability to provide advocacy at hearing.
